Tech Specs

If you plan to exhibit at outsight, please take note of the following:

Display size of works

Below is a handy reference as to how big your works can be:

Other things to take note of:

  • Have a CD of your images (ready for print) with write-up prepared upon submission so that we can send them for print upon selection.
  • We will only carry out brightness/contrast changes on your images using our computers that have been calibrated to our printers if necessary.
  • To ensure your images look good on display, we recommend that they are in:
    • High resolution TIFF files: 300 DPI at least, image size must be print size
    • High resolution JPEG files: 300 DPI at least, image size must be print size
    • For photo prints, keep in RGB format
    • For poster prints, convert to CMYK format

How big is each panel? Printing on A1 is possible but with some bleeding that needs to be trimmed away in order to maximize the margin left when printing on A2. It’s extra work but I guess the print shop can do the trimming…

    Hi,

each panel is approximately 24″ X 21″, so yes you could get a printer to trim it to size. Do e-mail us at outsightsci@gmail.com if you have more questions.
