The WKWSCI Showcase a.k.a outsight (it’s a long story why it’s not officially called outsight) is an exhibition space set up exclusively for SCI students to showcase their visual works. Whether it is graphic design works, photojournalism stories or even fine art creations, this space is a platform to showcase your talent!
The story behind this space is simple. We were tired of seeing our classmates’ great visual talents remain hidden to the school because there was no exhibition space for them. So one fine night, over zi char dinner and a few cups of teh, we drew up a proposal to build outsight and submitted it to Dr Yeoh Kok Cheow. The rest as they say is history (A really great way to cut a long story short).
Now that the space is finally ready, we strongly encourage you to bring out your best set of works and showcase them so that we can all be awed or be bored (a.k.a constructive criticism) by your talent. Give the students something else to talk about besides the incessant gossiping and a perfect excuse to go out when lectures get boring (i.e. Yawn! Let’s go outsight leh…).
Cheers,
Darren, JJ & Justin
