On Exhibit: Directions Poster

Directions poster

In this experimental project to render text as visuals, students from Graphic Communication (COM 232) were asked to write the actual directions they would take from home to school. Join outsight

We are currently looking for a fresh team of students to take over the running of outsight next semester. Basically, running outsight requires you to be a:

CURATOR — You’ll work closely with the artists to devise the artistic direction and details of their exhibitions. As a curator, you have to bring the best out of the artist in a manner that matters to your audience.

MANAGER — You’ll oversee issues of scheduling as well as cajoling students to exhibit. As a facilitator of this space for the school, you’ll also be in touch with them to manage funding.

TECHNICAL EXPERT — You’ll need to have the knowledge to bring out the best quality of the artist’s visuals. These include issues of resolution, colour, sizes, file formats…

So, if you’re interested, do drop us an e-mail at outsightsci@gmail.com or ask around school for Darren, JJ or Justin, all final-year SCI students, and come talk to us!
